Image Guided Surgery Associates, PC (IGSA) is a private medical practice specializing in Interventional Radiology/Image Guided Surgery.
Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures are a major advancement in medicine because they involve less risk than open surgery, with less pain and a shorter recovery time.
IGSA was founded in 2002 by Robert L. Worthington-Kirsch, MD, FSIR, FCIRSE in order to deliver the highest quality care specializing in these advanced procedures to his patients. Dr. Kirsch's and IGSA's well regarded reputation is demonstrated by the many referrals from other physicians throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
